Let’s quickly mention a couple of important things that you do not want to miss in this step-by-step wooden fence build.
When setting fence posts you need to make sure that the hole is dug 3x the with of a post and 1/3 – 1/2 of the post length deep. this is needed to give the post adequate long-lasting support.
Secondly, each hole took at least 3 bags of concrete each so bears that in mind when purchasing.

The posts are 6″ x 6″ wide 10′ long pressure-treated fir The slats are 1″ x 6″ x 10′ tight knot rough cedar which I ripped down to 1 1/4″ strips on my table saw.
